The Wedding Expo® is recognised nationally as the best known and reliable brand producing the largest and most prestigious bridal show in South Africa.

From inception in 2002 with one show per year, the show has grown to two shows annually since 2005 and hosts up to 350 premier bridal suppliers per show. Visitor numbers have grown with the show now attracting up to 15000 visitors per show coming from all over South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia and as far afield as Kenya.

The Wedding Expo® covers all areas of the bridal industry providing a comprehensive variety of bridal suppliers from all over South Africa and has become South Africa’s most popular bridal exhibition. The Wedding Expo® allows brides and grooms to experience first-hand the products and services available from suppliers in Gauteng and indeed, South Africa.

In order to encourage brides and grooms to use the show as a one-stop-shop for planning, The Wedding Expo® invests extensive financial resources to reach increasingly difficult to reach brides and grooms who have limited time available. The message is always that bridal shows are simply the most efficient way for them to shop.

In this regard, The Wedding Expo®’s marketing and PR team works throughout the year researching and staying current with trends to promote not only the show, but also the industry in feature articles and online platforms.
